Under the guidance and support of the Teaching Guidance Committee for E-commerce Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, the National Commercial Vocational Education Teaching Guidance Committee, the Rural Revitalization and Urban Sustainable Development Committee of the China Vocational Education Society, and the China Higher Education Training Center, the Guideline for the Construction of JD Industrial Colleges was officially released on January 10, 2023. The initiative aims to establish 100 JD Industrial Colleges across China, with an emphasis on four key areas, namely, the Intelligent Supply Chain Industrial College, Digital Commerce Industrial College, Rural Revitalization (Digital Rural) Industrial College, and New Engineering (Intelligent Manufacturing) Industrial College.
